To those getting hair stuck:

Use product. I use a combo of gel and curl crème. It needs a slip factor to not get stuck. Ask me how I know.

Use a very small amount of hair. She’s not using very much hair at all in her demonstration.

Just use the bristle part for an anchor of sorts.
