Throw out all wet furniture and ruined appliances carpet ECT. Cut out all wet sheetrock bleach all 2x4 before MOLD starts shovel out all Mud. And clean floors. The sooner and faster the better. Once mold starts. It takes FOREVER!!!

Everyone please get decent sized power banks (portable batteries) to keep your cell phone charged during emergencies and power outages. Communication and 911 is so important during power outages.

I wonder how many people wont get any insurance money because their home is considerd substanily damaged, lf code inforcment says its it is damaged were the repairs coast exceed 50% of the market value and its in a flood zone than they might not allow any repairs because they want the house on stilts, and if they wont issue a permit to do repairs than the insurance may not pay out ! If the president really wants to help than he needs to change the flood laws . If you own it you should be able to repair it !
