Lol 😂 there not honking at y’all, and there not mad. It’s there way of letting you know that they are there and to be careful. Also crossing the road is very easy, just wake straight to the other side, don’t turn, stop, or run. They will slow don’t and avoid you. Have fun stay safe.

I have never heard someone mention "language" as a super power. Wow, you are so right. The freedom to go anywhere on the globe and connect with people, would be amazing. That being said, you seem to connect well in almost every situation. Its inspiring.

Da Nang is less crowded with less overwhelming “Euro Expats”, more locals and more private beach area to reflect and explore.

Love your channel! Your voice is so calming. I can’t believe you can’t find good banh mi there. For breakfast they served you western style food. Btw get used to the honking, it may seem “for no reason” to you but trust me, the drivers know what they were doing. Honking is the reason there are less traffics accidents in VN than in the States lol. Can’t wait to see you on the HG loop!

Honking is just a form of communication to let you know where they are so you can stay safe. Totally different than the honking used in the US where they are pissed at you. LOL! I think it would behoove you to do a couple of food tours while in Hanoi to get more familiar with the food and how to eat it. They'll often sneak in a bit of history, cultural, etc., lessons that'll be useful, too.

FYI. Honking in Vietnam is very normal. Cross the street at normal, they not going to hit you. When you shop you must ask for the price first. They charge you more if you’re foreigner. Beside Bánh mì, try broken rice (cơm tấm) and (Phở) beef noodle soup. 80% of the shop and restaurants are cash, so make sure you caring cash. Enjoy and have fun. Love your channel.

I’m so excited for you and loved this video! So happy to hear work is off to a great start. Yesss, coconut coffee was my favorite in Vietnam too—it’s perfect for the heat! Salt coffee was such a fun surprise as well 💗

Vietnam Lunar New Year (a.k.a Tet) is just right around the corner. This year it falls on January 29th. I hope you will still be in the country to see the atmosphere. There's a lot happening before and after that day. It's a week long holiday in Vietnam.
