picture this : joyce hopper and murray are running from a demigorgon and they’re outta time. murray steps in front and says “my fingers are like arrows, my arms like iron, my feet like spears- and before he can finish the demigorgon comes and chews him up as joyce and hopper make their escape. there’s the comedic death

Jonathan’s death is the most likely for me. His death will have a bigger impact than fans expect…

- He was the first person to find out that Will has feelings for Mike. He told Will that if he needs anyone to talk to, he’ll be there. So Vecna will have Jonathan killed to torture Will.
- Joyce spent the first two seasons protecting Will from the horrors of the Upside Down. Now she really will lose a son.
- Jim is clearly going to marry Joyce, so he’ll will be a new dad to Jonathan and Will. He’ll try to be a better father than Lonnie ever was to them. With Jonathan dying, Jim will feel like a failure like how he felt with his daughter Sarah’s death. Because of that, I hope El doesn’t die, otherwise Jim will just go through that daughter death depression again at the end of the final episode.
- Not saying we should see him, but what if Lonnie actually showed up? The Duffer Brothers said originally Steve was supposed to die in season 1 (staying as a jerk) and that Lonnie was supposed to help Jonathan ad Nancy fight the Demogorgon. He was supposed to realize that Joyce was right about Will being alive. He was supposed to have a redemption arc. We never did see his action upon Will being alive. So imagine if we see him finding out that Jonathan died.
- Nancy will find out how Jonathan plans to go to the same school as Argyle instead of with her. So they’ll end up in an argument. After he dies, Nancy will think how their argument was stupid and should’ve accepted things the way they were. And yes, it might lead to her ending up with Steve. With that, we can get an epilogue in modern day which can reveal that Steve achieved his fantasy in which he and Nancy have kids and drive across country in a camper to places like Yellowstone. Perhaps their oldest son can be named after Jonathan. They did say how season 4 will be heavily tied to season 5, foreshadowing lots of stuff.

But here’s something else to why I think Jonathan will die. With Jim marrying Joyce, that will officially make El become Will and Jonathan’s sister. So if Jonathan were to marry Nancy, that would make El and Mike related. It would be like saying he kissed his sister. So they may kill Jonathan off for the sake of Mike and El’s love.

Eleven sacrifices herself, Jonathan dies saving Steve or Nancy maybe both, Robin dies, Murray dies and Karen I can see her be destroyed and attacked by a Demogorgon close to death either she lives or dies

Eleven is going to die, but then I'm pretty sure they're gonna have to do their fake death routine yet I don't know how they're gonna pull that off...

I don't think any of the season 1 characters will die. They will bring back Max, that's sure. And I bet Murray will sacrifice himself in a situation to save the others, so we can have at least one emotional major death without killing one of our big "family" (some side characters will die too, but not the parents of the kids). Maybe Dr. Owens will die too to help/save Eleven, because in season 4 he has so much trust in her to save Hawkins (or even the world I guess). Eleven will have a fake death (while destroying the upside down), but somehow she will survive and be fine at the end. That's what I expect and I love it. I'm tired of killing main characters just for the shock effect and the emotional value. That's not what Stranger Things is, even if the show is very brutal. It is a show with a happy end, but with a very hard way to get to it.

I wonder if they'll release all 8 episodes in 1 night but I think Jonathan will go but Steve and Nancy are too guilty to get back together cause Jonathan sacrificed himself and saved one of em or both, imagine it's Steve who he saved like a full circle moment to S1 finale

If you've seen all the set leaks you'd know the character most likely to die is Eleven due to a specific scene that was filmed by a youtuber and also many sources say Eleven wasn't on the hawkins high graduation in the end. It's really predictable and honestly i'm kind of dissapointed. It seems like the duffers won't kill anyone else besides her and a couple of main characters are confirmed to survive bc of the photo leaks.

That would be devastating, Hopper would lose his daughter again...if that happend, it is absolutely cold, heartless on the part of the creators...but yeah yeah, it makes sense and that's basically where the tv show heading the whole time

@RelayTS idk if you remember me leaking small plot details from a while ago but a family member working on post has confirmed “shout” by tears for fears will be featured in the first episode as dustin bikes to roane county cementary and talks to eddie at his grave about how he’s looking after the sheep for him but thinks are really tough and hard the sound of the walkman faintly playing the song as dustin wipes away at the burn in hell sloppily vandalized on the gravestone with a rag and a bottle of fantastik (an 80s) multipurpose cleaner he is then approached by the jocks of hawkins high who grab him by the shirt collar tearing it each taking a hit at dustin and last being to the face we end the scene at a every emotional moment and get a shot of dustin biking back home teary eyed and swollen

i Feel like Jonathan or even Nancz should sacrifice themselves than Steve steve nearly died so many fricking times please have him his deserved happy ending hopefully with Nancy but if not make it as good as possible.

I would not say eleven is a superhuman because she has a durability of a regular 15 year old girl and the strength of a regular girl she’s just a girl that has mind powers like telekinesis but that’s still a pretty strong powerful ability tho

I have a theory for episode six of season five, I think that Eddie has a chance to come back but as the camazotz because the camazotz is associated to bats, sacrifice and death and Eddie died from the bats sacrificing himself and the camazotz is controlled by ‘it’ which could necessarily be Vecna and he has brought Eddie back to life to basically be his wingman. I know it sounds crazy but it’s just a theory I made

I think that Jonathan will have to realize that he shouldn't just live for others and that he has to think about what he wants in life. Him sacrificing himself for others contradicts that and is something he would do even in season 1, so there would be no message there.

My predictions as of now are that Jonathan and Murray are toast. El while in a lot of danger may survive just because her death has been speculated every single season and may be too obvious by this point. Same goes for Steve. I can see Nancy having a 50/50 chance and the most safe to me are Hopper & Max because there's no way that keeping both of them miraculously alive will end with them dying for real.
