Hear from three panelists on the recent midterms and the future of our country.

Mike Franc is Hoover Institution’s director of DC programs, where he oversees research and outreach initiatives to promote ideas and scholarship in our nation’s capital. He holds a dual appointment as a research fellow. Prior to joining Hoover, Franc served as policy director and counsel for House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy. He also served as the Vice President of government relations for the Heritage Foundation. Franc has a BA from Yale University and a JD from Georgetown University.

Mary Katharine Haam is an American journalist and conservative commentator. She is a contributing editor for Townhall Magazine, a senior writer at The Federalist and a CNN contributor. She was previously a Fox News contributor and an editor-at-large for Hot Air. Ham holds a BA from the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication in the University of Georgia.

Hillsdale College is an independent institution of higher learning founded in 1844 by men and women “grateful to God for the inestimable blessings” resulting from civil and religious liberty and “believing that the diffusion of learning is essential to the perpetuity of these blessings.” It pursues the stated object of the founders: “to furnish all persons who wish, irrespective of nation, color, or sex, a literary, scientific, [and] theological education” outstanding among American colleges “and to combine with this such moral and social instruction as will best develop the minds and improve the hearts of its pupils.” As a nonsectarian Christian institution, Hillsdale College maintains “by precept and example” the immemorial teachings and practices of the Christian faith.

The College also considers itself a trustee of our Western philosophical and theological inheritance tracing to Athens and Jerusalem, a heritage finding its clearest expression in the American experiment of self-government under law.

By training the young in the liberal arts, Hillsdale College prepares students to become leaders worthy of that legacy. By encouraging the scholarship of its faculty, it contributes to the preservation of that legacy for future generations. By publicly defending that legacy, it enlists the aid of other friends of free civilization and thus secures the conditions of its own survival and independence.

Hillsdale College: Mike Frank and Mary Catherine Hamm can barely be heard on video, as if their mics were never turned on.

The snapping sound is very annoying. Sound is underwhelming at best

Soooo disappointed that an institution such as Hillsdale College cannot conduct proper 🎤 mic and sound checks. Then knowing a poor product was producted, it was not corrected with captions.... This is not a grade school play for goodness sakes! This is a total waste of energy and unprofessional.

Spend more on audio and less on stalker-like audience shots.
