I think another reason why Hairy Bulborb is basically dead last is because for some reason, it is noticeably weaker in every way than a Red Bulborb. Like it has less health than a Red Bulborb. So the only reason they exist is to be a snowy biome Bulborb.

Back in Pikmin 1, the Bulbear was basically nothing special, same with Dwarf Bulbears. It was basically just a beefier version of a normal Bulborb. But in 2 they gave it a lot of tweaks to stand out, as it now has its own dwarfs following it and gained the ability to revive, as well as patrolling the areas. Of course, the revive is gone, but it still kept the dwarfs following it and patrol route, and for that I feel like it is even more of a challenge than 1.

I hated the whiptongue bulborb since Pikmin 3 because it’s too hard to fight, and it does not look like a bulborb at all! And it does not even has its dwarves! I know it’s unique, but it just looks like a basic anteater with 2 legs
