Cartridge Tilting - GoldenEye 007 (N64) Intro (60fps)

Note: The Natalya part of the intro was spliced in, as I forgot to tilt the game pak on that part of the intro in the original video recording take.

In a few Nintendo 64 games, tilting the left side of the game pak during game play often results in interesting effects and in the case of Rareware's "GoldenEye 007", it causes the characters in the game to spaz out.

I decided to tilt the game cartridge during the game's intro to showcase these interesting effects.

This was done through the original hardware and not through emulation.
Video captured in 480i, and deinterlaced to 60fps with QTGMC.

As a kid, I always got scared when my games did this.

I immediately turned off my console and reset it.

I remeber a freak moment where I fell near the n64, after just turning it on and my brother and I both saw the rag doll bond in the gun barrel. We turned it off and didnt know what to do. After a frw minutes we went back to trying to play the game.

One of the things I always wondered why about this is that whenever you had that glitch the same type of noise that fit EXACTLY with what was going on could be heard. IN ALL THE GAMES!!! It's literally the sound of twisted polygons if a sound engineer had to make one lol.
