This makes me so happy. Seeing animals find a loving home is so beautiful and perfect. I just hope you'll break the stereotype of new(er) couples getting a dog and only focusing on them until they have kids and then the dog is forgotten. Dogs are 5-20 year commitments (depending on the breed) and deserve attention and affection they're entire life.

You know, it makes me happy to see a creature like Nala to have such a loving home and to have 2 of the most sweet people really give her the best life ever and is nice to see how much love  connection between you guys.When you look at other cases when dogs are being neglected and are being harmed it really hurts me. Im sure that would hurt you too. I hope Nala has the best life ever. Thank you Alfie for making my day!

I have two dogs and have been told and have read that when they are puppies you have to be careful to avoid repeating their name over and over again. This is because they will not understand why you keep saying it and will begin to completely ignore their name:( Obviously you need to teach them their name but dont over do it. I struggle will it myself sometimes because you want to get there attention and you are so excited to have a new family member.

Few tips:
1. On her first few nights, she might cry. Like my dog, she sleeps in a crate but don't go to her otherwise she will cry for months. I know it sounds cruel but just leave her.
2.taping dogs on the nose is a way of telling them off.
3.dont give her if she wee's or poos inside
4. Don't giver her all her toys at once otherwise she will get bored and start chewing and playing with things around the house.
5.when you take her on walks and she meets other dogs she might get scared, but again this sounds cruel, but don't pick her up otherwise she won't get used to meeting dogs. Just leave her and when the dog has gone you can praise her.

Disclaimer: I am not telling you to do this, she is yours and you can look after her anyway you like. just gave you both a few tips incase you struggle with anything
