Super Typhoon Yolanda in 2013 caused massive destruction in Bantayan Island. In spite of the island recovery, there are still some remnants of the damage of the terrible typhoon. Heartening to see it's continued recovery.

Mangroves are also small fish sanctuaries as well. They keep big fish from eating small fish and baby fish from being eaten .
