still have to mention that The Emperor's Champion is a title, and the chapter as a whole hold atleast 10 Black Swords. each major crusade fleet that joins Helbrecht, will be bringing a Champion with them. each champion having visions gifted to them by the emperor. i'm going to have to give it to the Templars in this one, but so far, this has been a popularity contest, not a logical one

Realisticly, Templars could bring 2, 500 to 3, 000 if they get half of their total force to muster. Their fleet also having the benefit of several mechanicus worlds that have sworn to aid them makes those numbers mean more. Helbrecht would not charge Dante in the void. There are several passages that show him acting with cold logic and pragmatism in void combat until the close of the battle when key openings were made.

Templar are not given enough credit for their more calculated, logical moments. They get type cast as furious zealots that charge before thinking. Armageddon counters this as we see Grimaldus coordinate a hive city wide siege defense that spanned weeks of intricate staggered retreats.

I'm genuinely shocked that the blood angels beat the wolves. It's kinda fitting that the top two chapters are those of the Primarchs who were with the Emperor at the end.

It amuses me that it is never mentioned in any of these videos that Helbrecht was given overall command of all the Space Marine fleets at Armageddon (including the BA) due to him one of, if not the, preeminent void commander in the Imperium. And the sheer size of their fleet notwithstanding. Which is supported by forge fleets and other support vessels.

Not only that, no mention of the vast amount lore examples of the Black Templars all but being immune to warp powers due to their faith (e.g. One of the strongest psychic individuals in the galaxy felled by the BT -- Cacodominus -- which literally killed billions of psykers around the galaxy in a death howl when it died).

In addition, something no one talks about is the fact that those 5-6k marines that the Black Templars field, does not include the thousands and thousands more Neophytes the BT have in addition to ensure their chapter can sustain their Crusades.

Lastly, in the lore, Black Templars take great measures to emulate the example of Sigismund and each marine are the epitome of martial prowess -- skill which far surpasses their counterpart marine brethren. They combine their skill at arms with their zealous nature -- to devastating effect. Even Sanguinius said Sigismund was Death incarnate. That is the level of skill each BT strive to achieve in their every waking moment.

I think it’s about time the black library allow the blood angels to reform to Legion strength given that their basically on their own in Nihilus. Imagine the IX Legion reformed 👊

I don’t agree that Helbrecht would charge straight in, either on the ground or in the void. He’s an acknowledged master of fleet tactics as well as a master swordsman like all Templars strive to become.
As with previous rounds I believe some additional Crusades will arrive to reinforce their chapter and, unlike Rho sounds, I’m taking into account casualties suffered in each of those previous rounds. For these reasons I believe the Black Templars greater numbers, superior fleet assets, fresh reinforcements and fanatical zeal will see them victorious yet again though it will be bloody!

Mephiston is an absolute beast, turning traitor marines' bones into dust without even touching them. I love the character.

Glad to see us in the final. Are numbers are low but are strength is unmatched. Although I think the black templars will defeat us we have Dante and Mephiston. If we win it’ll be against the odds. But that’s never stopped us before.

There is not a conflict. The first Templar is a Archenemy of Black legion. as Dante is now. I adore both. Let there be Peace between brothers- i would not choose.

Honestly i expected either ultramarines or space wolves.

Im voting for Blood Angels. Basis this off the reach Rho has granted Dante for Nihlus, and Dante willing to call on the Blood. Plus I'd take an Angel over any Templar. As for the faceoff... i doubt Helbrecht would fight Dante, I would expect Mephiston to be the Spear that meets him.

You don’t live as chapter master for over a thousand years without being a master warrior and commander

I imagine it would be Mephiston who faces Helbrecht rather than Dante. As for the Sanguinor vs the Emperor's Champion, I think only Sigismund during the Siege of Terra could have won such a contest, and just barely. Any other Champion is no match for the Sanguinor.

I have to say the space wolves were the only ones with a chance against the black templars

Well shit I was wrong. Go templars. But it is a little funny, and silly, that melee chapters are the finalists.

I'm calling it for the Blood Angels. They have faced the very worst the galaxy has, constantly snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Surely the Emperor will bless the sons of his greatest son.

templars have a 3:1 numbers advantage AT MINIMUM. if it were a total war, the fight would only begin with the templars helbrecht can muster- but the far flung crusades will gradually get the message, AND their outposts will eventually replenish their losses as the fight ensues, not something the blood angels can keep up with exclusively recruiting from irradiated old baal. not to mention the templars being a fleet based chapter, their numerical advantage extends to ships as well.

It seems popularity of chapter is influence the outcome of the matchups rather than the presented logistics. The Space Wolves losing to the Blood Angels would take a significant amount of fluff to explain.

So imagine the Wolves are dominating the Angels only for a warp storm to occur. This storm allows Ka’bandha into the materium. Ka’bandha and his forces oddly focus on killing Space Wolves rather than indiscriminate violence.

if helbrecht were to be taken out, the chapter comand would defacto fall to grimaldus as reclusiarch, the marshals would all follow him until they finish the fight, and after grimaldus, any current emp champion would be next in line

Given that the blood angels withstood Hive fleet Leviathan killing millions of nids in battle before the Indomitus Crusade arrived or Even Kabanda is a testament to their fighting prowess.
