Is the Insta360 X4 being released soon? What features will it have?

Could this discount mean an X4 is coming soon? Often tech companies will reduce the price of their leading product just before launching a new one.

The sensor will be the same of the X3. They will improve the chipset using the 5nm model of the Ace Pro and with that the X4 will be able to offer 8k30 and 5.7k60. The actual X3 sensor is already capable of that (in single lens it can reach 4k vs 2.7k of the X2 and it can make 8k timelapse) but the chipset not. They will not put an 1" sensor because there is already a 1 inch camera and because the price will be much higher. The screen probably will remain the same but i hope they can make the X4 thinner, in order to have a better stitch. AI effects are useless but they will continue to push on that.

A 1-inch sensor for each lens would be amazing. I know the Insta360 One RS already has a 1-inch sensor (or is it two 1-inch sensors?), but I've heard it's bigger and heavier than the X3. But I imagine an X4 (with one-inch sensors) would be considerably more expensive. Personally, since the three companies (Insta360, DJI and Go Pro) seem to copy ideas from each other anyway, I'd love to see an Insta360 X4 do something like the DJI Pocket 3, with a one-inch sensor, and on a built-in gimbal, but with the two lenses. Now 'that' would be amazing! Great in low light too! But again, probably very expensive.

8K ON THE WAY, BBY. I said want improve image quality. 6k or 8k 360, 5k single lens. 4k me mode. Auto connect Bluetooth, built in receiver for wireless mics, like the OP3.

360 mode should be 8k at 60fps so that you can reframe at 4k. Needs 1in sensor for better low light. My $2k Mac Studio can edit 8k no problem at all. What do you mean people don’t have powerful enough devices?! The M2 and up processors offer plenty of performance. It’s past time! My issue is the 1080p 30fps footage is way too grainy at speed especially if there is foliage in the scene; the X3 can’t keep up when you are moving at over 5mph.

I don't think user replaceable lenses will happen because of the water proofing as you mentioned. Also, if the lens isn't set at exactly the correct position (distance from the sensor) then the image will be blurry.

X3 gives approx 1080p when reframed. The X4 may achieve 1440p. Better, but not really sensational.

I'm a 360 addict, after my first camera 360 from Samsung I bought the Nikon key mission 360, and lenses was replaceable and waterproof.So yes insta360 can do it.i break my X3 lens 3 days ago and my guarantee is exceeds .i use it with the single lense like my GoPro but dammmnn hope they can do that and also if we can fit some nd filter

i do not care about an x4, i need a NON MODULAR 1" sensor 360 modell with exceptional image quality. 6k vid res is enough for me, but it should have at least 100 mp still image resolution so it would be nice for real estate photography for egs. oh, and please, NO AI stupidity!

It seems to me that if I have Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch, the new X4 will not convince me with anything special
