The movie centres around Arne Johnson a man who's literally arrested for possession after murdering his landlord. There's a lot of real life things that the film changes and in this video we're gonna be discussing the true story that inspired the film as well as the film itself.

Full spoilers ahead so if you haven't had a chance to check it out then I highly recommend that you check out now. Please click the thumbs up button if you enjoy the video and make sure you subscribe if you watch Youtube all day because you hate Exorcising.

We've got tonnes of crap puns like that each and every day and with that out the way, let's get into The Conjuring Mephisto Made Me Do It.

Ok so up top I'm gonna be discussing the real life events that inspired the film but if you wanna jump ahead to our breakdown of the movie itself then time codes will be linked below.

Our story begins in the 1980s with the possession of an 11 year old boy named David Glatzel. Ooooo spooky music.

After he and his family purchased a rental property, David started seeing a ghostly figure that he described as “a man with big black eyes, a thin face with animal features and jagged teeth."

His parents would become angry with him and say that he made the spectre up in order to avoid doing housework but David would often reply with highly sinister threats about what would happen if they ever tried to leave the house.

Even though they had simply purchased it to do it up and rent out they decided that now would be as good a time as any to move in and this is where things started to escalate.

David kept telling his parents that the old man was appearing more and more and his figure was starting to warp into a demonic wolf that cursed at him in Latin and said it would steal his soul.

David himself started to change too and after experiencing multiple seizures and strange injuries the family reached out to the church. After they refused they were left asking who you gonna call which is when the Glatzel's reached out to Ed and Lorraine Warren, who like the movie lived locally.

The Warrens started observing the family and according to them he levitated at several points. Whereas in the film we just centre on one malevolent entity that focused on the boy, in real life the paranormal investigators said that multiple demons attached themselves to him.

Getting a lot of people saying that the movie hasn’t been released yet and asking how I’ve seen it. The film is now out in the U.K. and as I’m a U.K. based channel I tend to drop my videos when things release here. It’s difficult to keep up with release dates around the world so I always go with releases over here. If you haven’t seen the film yet hopefully we’ll see you after it comes out where you live 🙏- Paul

My only problem with the movie, is that there is no homage to Loraine Warren who died before this was released. She helped on set, and without her life experiences, they wouldn't be getting rich on these movies.

Absolutely hate the cheap jump scares. I honestly came for the horror and stayed for the chemistry between Vera and Patrick. They are so good together.

That is a boyfriend. It would be a teenage boy to offer himself up to save his girlfriend’s younger brother. Guess he is a keeper.

I just realized why I often overlap Insidious and The Conjuring series.. it's because both have Patrick Wilson..😅

I seriously wondered why Lorraine's hair was so crazy in this movie and then it became known that it was to mimic the real life Lorraine Warren's hair in her later life and then I was like "Ahhh it's just being better consistency!" lol

This was a great mystery. Wasn't scared but very interested.

I honestly thought this one was better than the other two. It had more mystery and kept me intrigued the WHOLE time

The first and second movie was actually scary, so was the second Annabelle.

They really didn't do this story justice, ...it could've been an AMAZING AND SCARY MOVIE if they had focused more on the how it got to arne and actually shown how scared little david was..instead they took the witch angle, which was quite frankly REALLY BORING, ESPECIALLY THE SECOND HALF OF THE MOVIE!

this movie proves that billy was mephisto all along.

(if u don't get it, the actor of billy plays David, he also plays Luke in haunting of hill house which is a great show rlly recommend)

are you joking when you say this is your favorite one? because this one for me is probably the weakest. the first conjuring is definitely a the best in the whole series

Honestly this felt like it should have been a 2 parter or even a TV series. Theres enough in this movie to warrant a longer storie

I enjoyed this movie and can't wait for the next one! I definately disagree with people who say the Conjuring movies rely on "jump scares". I often wonder what they think the type of stores that are in this universe are about. Anyway, another good film from the Conjuring franchise!
