Also to make sure you create and account with them so you don’t have to provide a physical receipt. They also replaced a pair of my 4 year old leggings that my sisters dog bit causing a hole. It’s the only expensive workout brand I will by from.

Lululemon Educator here: technically the policy is that the item has to be a manufacturing defect. If you get a hole because your dog bit into it or pilling happens because you put it in a dryer it’s technically not a quality promise. We will definitely repair any fabric holes or seams splitting for free.

That being said, it is ultimately up to the educator that you are talking to that makes that decision. It also varies on what our managers tell us to do. I would say most educators are willing to exchange for a new pair or refund for a gift card. But I have had fellow educators who have declined guests so I don’t want people to be surprised if an educator says no to trying to exchange their 4 year old leggings.

Also, please be nice to the people you are talking to at lulu. We honestly don’t make that much money and having to go through the grey area of explaining to guests about our quality promise can be tough sometimes. We understand that they are expensive and we want to help, but we also try our best to follow the policies that lululemon and our managers give us.

This is a really good hack which I’m really happy to know but I know not other places that sell reasonable sport pants like the aligns don’t do this but when I buy sporting clothes and they start to pilling then I just go to a local tailor and they fix it up for me for so cheap, it does just what lululemon does for way cheaper

This is not true. My leggings started to pill within 5 months and they said I just didn’t wash them right when I followed the exact instructions.

I only wear Lulu. Been for 12 yrs. I used to be an educator there, though and people take advantage of this, which is really sad. I’ve seen people bring back a gym bag that was chewed up by a dog.

This is actually real.. the logo of my friend’s shorts got scratched and she went to buy a new one and they asked her what she bought the shorts for and she told them what happened and she got the new pair for free

My hottie hot shorts ripped the day I bought them, (like a hole in the mesh part in the side of the shorts) if I go to the store with NO receipt or tag, and ask nicely will they give me another pair or a giftcard for the same price I payed ($68) I’ve worn them maybe 2 times

Nope. Not true. It doesn’t cover normal wear and tear. And it’s not life time guarantee. If you bought it and there was a defect, that is covered on that quality promise. Nothing worse than when someone comes in complaining about peel….it’s not lululemon’s fault that your legs rub
