Received this hammock to test as I'm starting to hammock camp with my boys. For the price point, it's a great all-in-one solution. I can see using this for hikes where a multi-day basecamp is not needed. Just for sleeping and then back on the trail.

The tarp piece was decent, no issues, but the hammock itself appears very well built. Overall there were nice touches including the tie-out tabs that could be used for an underquilt.

Update: Took this on an overnight backpacking hike. Set it up with an underquilt and a large tarp over the Nightcat and, briefly shown in the video, my Wiseowl hammock which my son used. At around 4 am in the morning it started raining (and never let up). The Nightcat performed awesomely. No water came in (from running down the straps/lines for example) Was comfy the whole night, no issue with getting in and out. I do need a topquilt instead of a sleeping bag however but that's for all hammocks to get comfy easier when getting in and out. I did forget to take pics! I think the best part of the Night Cat hammock setup was it gets staked out one to each side which helps keep the hammock stable. My son flipped out of his Wiseowl in the middle of the night. The funny part being...his mat and sleeping bag went with him and they all fell into the bugnet without him waking up! So a bit freaky but no harm done, and I woke him and got him resettled and no issues the remainder of the night. So, again, Night Cat approved and recommended!
