A stasis sniper that give frost armor for each consecutive precision or shatter you perform and amplifies it's damage based on the stacks of frost armor you have.

Here's an idea to make this a little more functional and unique imo:

Dry Ice (renamed from Icicle): On critical hits spawns a volatile stasis crystal that shatters on its own after a set duration. Spawns more crystals on critical kills.

Static Inversion: Critical hits grant 1 stack of Potential. Hitting an enemy while you have 3 stacks causes a stasis wave which shatters nearby stasis crystals for increased shatter damage (175% a normal shatter).

(Not in the Exotic description but the wave is the same type of wave as the one on stasis warlock's super. This means that wearing Ballidorse Wrathweavers interacts with it as well. The wave itself deals 100% extra damage and gives 2X Stasis weapon surge and 1/2 max stacks of frost armor for 15 seconds to allies caught in it)

Description: A 140 precision Hand Cannon with a mag size of 21.

Weapon Trait: "Tip of the Iceberg" - Final blows with Frozen Vengeance or while you have a Stasis buff applied grants increased handling, reload, and stability; weapon final blows extend buff.

Intrinsic Trait: "Frozen Vengeance" - Precision final blows or precision hits charge an Icicle shot. When fully charged, your next shot will summon a falling Icicle over the target. The Icicle deals damage, and instantly Freezes then Shatters targets in a small radius.

Exotic Catalyst: "Below the Iceberg" - Final blows with Sudden Collapse and Shattering Frozen targets will fire Slowing ice shards in a radius. Increased Tip of the Iceberg detonation size. You deal significantly increased damage to Icicle-Afflicted targets for a short period after freezing a target.

Detailed Stats:
Slow stacks applied by Below the Iceberg are 60 stacks (20 in PvP)
Stats are the equivalent of Luna’s Howl.
Frozen Vengeance grants 30+ Handling, Reload, Stability, and a 25% increased weapon damage to Icicle-Afflicted target; Frozen Vengeance lasts for 5 seconds.
Precision hits required to activate Tip of the Iceberg is 7.
In PvP, the Freeze and Shatter effect from Tip of the Iceberg will inflict less damage.
You become Icicle-Afflicted by the Icicle for 4 seconds after being hit directly by the Icicle; the Freeze and Shatter do not count.


Post notes: My end goal was to make a weapon that had more instantaneous freeze and shatter effects, chaining damage in a large area thanks to the Catalyst, and having some synergy with the Stasis subclass through Freeze and Shatter. But its held in check by requiring precision hits to charge the Icicle shot.
This weapon is basically if Malfeasance and Hawkmoon had a baby on Europa, but was raised by Sunshot.
Also, this hypothetical weapon may still be op given they buffed shatter damage and with how much this shatter can chain with the Catalyst. So I might just knock down the Slow stacks added to the Catalyst to 40 so you'll need three separate kills to freeze nearby enemies.

This weapon already has synergies with Lucky Pants, with stacking damage buffs and shatter damage.
This weapon might be more balanced than before. Still open to suggestions

This gave me another idea for an adaptive stasis sniper perk.
Cold Look:
ADS for a period of time to activate like box breathing, but instead, it feezes in one hit, so basically a super buffed chill clip. Landing a precision hit will instantly cause targets to shatter. Clears on shot, like box breathing.

Intrinsic comes with chill clip (so you can deal with overloads too)

Catalyst: Icy Stare
Shattering targets refreshes Cold Look (meaning you could body shot ads, but on bosses it'll require a precision hit)
Basically turns it into a stasis-like Whisper

Queen slayer - A stasis heavy sniper that has 2 bullets in the mag and 12 in reserve. Frozen payload: first bullet in the mag is an explosive that deals small damage but freezes all targets in a large area. Slayer: Second bullet deals heavy damage, this damage is increased if that target is frozen. Catalyst: Dominion - Shattering a target with any weapon or ability reloads this weapon instantly

Here’s an idea

Grim Fissure - Stasis Heavy Rocket Launcher

Intrinsic Perk - Glacial Call: This weapon’s rockets freeze impacted enemies and spawn several stasis crystals near the impact point. The rocket then explodes in a shattering blast after a short delay.

Exotic Perk - Fracture: Stasis crystals and frozen enemies deal more damage in a larger area when shattered by this weapon’s rockets.

Exotic Catalyst - this weapon freezes all enemies in an area around impact and spawns additional stasis crystals.

I’ve been thinking of a stasis hand cannon exotic
It is a 12 round mag 180 hand cannon with 80 impact on kills it builds up freezing rounds stackable up to 6 that can be released with hip fire similar to the verglas curve with hail barrage except instead of the rounds creating a stasis when you miss it creates a burst that slows enemy’s
I was thinking about calling the hand cannon Katapsyxē after the Greek work for frozen
It’s exotic catalyst would increase the reload and handling when you kill a frozen target

Soo, since stasis supers are Not often used in dps ( Maybe a solo Titan on big Bosses or when its ok for the fire Team or ... Riven ) how about a exotic Rocket Launcher called Feed the Frenzy : this Exo is all about preperation :
First Perk : this weapon is unable to fire If Not feeded 3 diffrent abilitys and will dmg you for every Shot fired ( Not able to kill you Just leaving at 1 HP )
Second Perk :If you hold the weapon in your Hand you can hold the reload Button and Choose a ability to Feed the weapon
If a Grenade is used the Magazine will overload Up to 3 Shots per Grenade consumed, If a melee ability is used the Exo is getting different buffs depends on the amount of melees consumed
1 stack : reload speed is increased .
2 stacks : increase the amount Shots to 2 per reload after the First Shot for 10 Seconds
3 stacks : rockets are now following Targets
When the class ability is consumed :
You get dmg reduction for 10 Seconds after the First Shot is fired and based on the amount of class abilitys consumed :
1 stack 5%
2 stacks 10%
3 stacks 25%
If super is consumed
1 stack : dmg Boost of 50 for every Rocket fired for 15 Seconds after the First Shot is fired self dmg is also increased ( including the First Rocket)
2 stacks : self dmg from this weapon is turned of for 15 Seconds after the First Shot is fired
3 stacks : If your ammo reserves are depleted you get a 400% increase in ability and super recharge rate until your super is ready also the next 2 enemys killed by an ability will drop heavy ammo
If the weapon have max stacks the reload time is increased and the ammo reserves are increased until you Shot your Rocket again

A while ago I had this one idea for a bow, it shot explosive arrows that if you hold square (or whatever it is on pc and xbox) it would be a timed payload, but the second perk is what makes it unique, if you draw back to the bow you can load additional arrows more arrows being added the longer you draw for, and if you aim the arrows are put into one focused point, and if you hipfire the arrows are spread

Razorhail: Stasis sniper. Exotic perk: Eye of the storm; spawns a stasis turret on crit kills (with a 3-5 second cool down) or on making 3 or 4 crit hits on the same target! Turrets spawn at the targets feet if it's procced via critical hits, or in the space of the crit kill. Reason for turret locations: crit hit spawn means you're probably dps-ing so it'll keep turrets out of the way. Crit kills would just be fun popping harpies/flying enemies and having a turret in the air lmao

I have a lot of respect for how you’re making suggestions on exotics and how to add new flavors. I like the idea of the stasis sniper.

Since it’s an exotic, it would be interesting if precision hits emitted shards of stasis that slowed surrounding enemies.

Or what they could do which would be potentially neat is bring current weapons "Into Darkness" with some exotics having stasis or strand variants that you can "craft" at a station for a quest or raid of some kind.

These weapons can be swapped back and forth at this "dark forge" or whatever you call it, and will essentially alter the weapons function, but keep most of its functions compared to its light version.

Here's a quick mockup of what I mean:

Sunshot - "Can't outrun the sunrise."

Bringing it to darkness, it becomes:

Moonbeam - "Can't outlast the night."

Sunshot changes into a stasis handcannon, with its primary perk Sunblast, changing to "Moonstrike".

Every precision hit with this handcannon charges one bullet of the next reload with stasis, causing the next hit to be empowered. Every 2 precision hits in a row will slow (never freeze, *slow*) your target, allowing for easier follow up shots. The slow amount does not stack but will reset when 2 more shots land. The empowered rounds will not decay when the weapon is swapped out, and the number of empowered shots is shown as a number next to the number of rounds in the mag.

So, if you hit 6 precision shots of the 12 shots of Moonbeam, the first 6 rounds of the next reload will be empowered. You can keep the empowered rounds by hitting precision shots with them, so essentially, perfect aim leads to perfect damage.

Exotic idea: Strand/Arc 120 HC (like conditional swapping between damage types, but sits in the energy slot instead) (there’s also no arc exotic HC or exotic 120 in the energy slot so this feels like a good exotic to add now)
Intrinsic perk: sliding changes this weapon’s damage type to arc, granting increased handling. Jumping changes this weapon’s damage type to strand, increasing its airborne effectiveness. Suspending or blinding enemies refunds 4 bullets to the mag

Exotic perk: damaging enemies while sliding or airborne builds up a charge of arc and strand matter. Hold [reload button] when fully charged to inject yourself with a stim that significantly increases movement speed (strafe, sprint, slide, jump, should be faster than amplify but only lasts 7 seconds) and causes rapid arc headshots to blind targets and rapid strand headshots to suspend targets. Further damage will sliding and jumping while active will extend the duration (headshots increase by 1 second, body shots by 0.5)

Note: 4 headshots to trigger, can carry between targets, so 3 headshots on a guardian in PvP for the kill and a quick headshot on another to trigger the perk

Exotic catalyst: when the stim is activated, defeating blinded targets with arc damage causes your next shot to blind and defeating suspended targets with strand damage causes your next shot to suspend (2 seconds before this expires)

Another note: the stim should be attached to the gun and should have its own little animation when activating it

Stasis was never meant for raw DPS. It’s a resistance subclass with slowing effects. At the beginning of Beyond Light, the devs stated that it was supposed to be a “tank-ier” class.

I would personally want a Stasis or Strand Special Linear Fusion Rifle (similar to Arbalest) where this is for Stasis:

Kell's Bane - Stasis Linear Fusion Rifle (5 in Mag)
Cold Feet - When stationary, hits on critical will build Cold Stacks (max of 5)

Frostburn - When reloaded, all Cold Stacks charge the mag for increases in handling and damage. Damage with charged mags deal Solar and Stasis damage. When Frostburn is active, you do not gain Cold Stacks.
Kell's Strike - Five consecutive criticals when Frostburn is active, automatically reloads the mag with Frostburn deactivated. Does not take from reserves.

Max ammo: 5 + 20
Max shot potential: 5, 10, 10, 10, 10 (25 basic, 20 Frostburn shots)

Grenade launcher that has a 2 round mag where the first one freezes the target after its explosion and the second shot deals bonus damage to frozen targets/enemies affected by ice debuffs such as the slow both bonuses apply such as the frozen yellow numbers and the bonus from this weapon. Dealing damage to frozen targets or destroying a stasis crystal with this weapon causes a new stasis crystal to form. (either first or second doesn't matter, this is a perk at the bottom)
The weapon has high velocity and explosion radius like a rocket, although it's a grenade launcher. It has huge damage like a rocket, but both can be shot back to back sorta like the popular legendary nade launchers. The weapon would function well with frost synergies but also prismatic for its debuffs potential to both medium sized targets and large targets.

The odds of another stasis exotic grenade launcher after the other... Probably not, but this design also would work great as a rocket, but it wouldn't compete with other rockets because they have better synergies in their own subclasses.

Also, make cold heart a stasis weapon with its catalyst, and let it perpetually freeze the target in addition to increasing its damage.

Cold heart will become king I assure you, or even let it stay as arc and give it a frost debuffs. Would be awesome, but its catalyst is mid and it needs help even tho the weapon is kinda fun.
