Story 8: Sucks to say, but OP just has to weather out the next three years and make an exit plan. She can't rely on either parent because they're both horrible people. Her father will never accept her, and to be begging to live with him makes me think her mom is somehow worse in a way OP doesn't want to talk about. At best, OP could reach out to family relatives. At worst, OP can report to CPS if this go the way I fear and raise to the level of actual abuse.

S1: No op has zero claim to the home since the deed is in her soon to be ex-husband's name, so it's not community property. It's similar to not qualifying for inheritance money/homes. Plus since he was a stay at home dad it would behoove op to file for divorce asap. So that she can get custody of the kids and not have to pay her soon to be ex alimony. She can always hire someone to get the information about her suspicions about a possible infidelity on the part of her husband. Just because he deleted all of his conversations doesn't mean that they don't exist.

S3: It was shitty of op's dad to put op in a compromising position between her parents. This is her parents crap to deal with instead of using his own daughter. Her dad knows that his wife is cheating so all he had to do is find the information he was looking for instead of enlisting op to do the investigation for him. Their marriage is not op's responsibility. She's their adult child...not her dad's pawn.

About story 8 As someone who has parents that have been separated since I was 3 about the last story I think the mom is being a bit of an asshole, yeah your child not wanting to live with you can hurt, and I’m not blaming her for being sad it’s completely valid. The problem is her sulking, wich I find immature, instead of comforting her child when she’s going through the horrible situation of her Dad not caring about her she’s instead acting like a child who didn’t get candy.

S8: So op wants to live with her dad instead of her mom because mom isn't up to op's standards when it comes to what she wants in a parent. However, op's dad doesn't want her at all since she's not his biological daughter. Yet op is begging to stay with the daddy who wants nothing to do with her; he's made his stance abundantly clear even to a 15 year old as he possibly could, but op doesn't care because she wants her daddy back. I'm betting that op stopped being daddy's little princess the moment that dad was given a biological son when op was 5 or 6 years old.
I'm sorry about the circumstances that op now finds her life in but she can't make her dad feel anything for her anymore. He stopped pretending to have feelings for her once he realized that he could father a bio child of his own.
Op needs to pick up her own pride and seek solace in the one parent she's blaming for her parents divorce. Op has to accept the fact that the dad she loves stopped pretending to care and now she sees his true self. I'm betting that her mom has been the one who helped to hype up dad in op's eyes because she knew that he didn't love op and now he doesn't have to pretend anymore.

S5: Lie, there is no way the Husband’s family had operated communally if the husband is always relying on his wife to do these things FOR HIM. I guarantee what his family or he meant by “communal” was they did those things for him. he blatantly did not find it an acceptable marriage anymore when she refused to also mother him.

That commentor might be true in some circumstances, but in this case, it is clearly him saying people took care of these things for me in the past, and I expect you to do that now.

S5: NTA, this man was bullying and berating you and then you saying one thing made him completely check out of your marriage. he kept comparing you in a negative manner to the family he had to get a restraining order from by saying you should be more like them yet you’re in the wrong? this guy sounds like a major AH and has deep issues that he needs therapy for, and by doing so has been emotionally abusive towards you. good luck if you want to still be in a marriage with this man.
