Man I love this phone & this company. I have never owned any Palm products in my life til the last three months. I fell in love with my Palm Pixi Plus. Then yesterday I freak'n dropped it & didn't know it until I found it smashed by my car. I don't think it would even broke if a rock wasn't under it...it still freak'n rang and I could see the screen, but I couldn't unlock it to answer it because my touch screen was broke. I went down today & bought another one & Palm had all my stuff backed up.

The Palm Pre is plenty easy to use and very simple to use. It's just really good at doing things all at once. I'd highly recommend it.

i kept laughing at the beginning when you were saying the phones were "cute". I might actually see if I can get the Palm Pre Plus used, to hold me off until i can upgrade next year. I currently have a droid x. Great review btw.

Also, when is the Pre Plus going to be available in Canada? All the electronics stores I visit don't have any notices or information relating to it. Even the clerks I talk to don't seem to know.

I'm kind of interested in this palm pre due to the fact that it can be used as a wifi hot spot. But, now, I'm wondering if it will suck if I'm desperate to use it for my laptop.

@hotpeacechick Just because there is more RAM in the Pre Plus doesn't mean it has a faster processor. The Pre's processor is 600 mHz (underclocked to 500). The Nexus One has a 1 gHz processor. Twice as fast. The Pre does have more RAM, but that's because WebOS is heavy on multitasking and Android really isn't.

I heard somewhere that the Pre's bottom edge is razor sharp when you slide it open, to the point of being highly irritating. Has this been remedied in the Plus reincarnation?
