Boston Dynamics has introduced a new electric version of its Atlas robot, replacing the older hydraulic model with a quieter, more fluid motion system. This revamped Atlas features a more streamlined and approachable design, mirroring advances seen in robots like Agility’s Digit and Apptronik’s Apollo. The new Atlas, equipped with custom high-powered actuators, showcases its enhanced agility and potential for industrial applications in a compelling demonstration video.

the clickbait thumbnail is really misleading. It made me think there was a full press conference/presentation with the new Atlas on a stage, but the whole thing was photoshopped.

What's going to blow youtubers away, is how many people unsubscribe, when you continually promise to blow them away, and don't. A better title would be "Exciting New Boston Dynamics Robot."

B.D to U.S:” here’s a new more capable version of our robot tech!”
U.S:” Can it fight?”
B.D:” Roger Roger!”

That's one badass robot. I want to replace all my appendages with robotic ones. Mr. X

The clickbait thumbnail made me dislike the video

I just had to laugh at "mirroring the transformative moment when Dylan switched from acoustic to electric." I mean, really?

Also, this is over five minutes of blah blah about a 39-second video.

It doesn't have proper hands, still. How will it be useful in the real world without them?

IMHO, it is better to find the humor rather than taking things WAY too seriously!❤😂😅🤣

I attended MIT before Nintendo was a household name. If anyone told me back when I was a student that MIT would spin-off into making these fancy bots, I'd have thought Lost in Space fried your brain!

A challenge to BD is to show a video of its new robot that doesn't look like a cheap 3D simulation.

Thanks for the video video. I question why you said that the new Boston dynamics atlas to robot was more smooth less jerky then other offerings of human robots. That statement would’ve been fine except you were playing a video of the Optimus robot at the time you said it and one of the most notable things of Optimus was how smooth, silky, smooth, and natural the motion was. I don’t know if you were, not well informed or had not looked at all the robots and we’re just guessing but Optimus have contrasting pros and cars versus the new atlas because I don’t know yet how good the atlas two is but I can definitely say from what I’ve seen of Optimus that it moves, very smooth and natural looking.how much powered it has and how accurate that motion is will have to be determined when you saw Atlas walking away it was pretty jerky. Looks very cool, but not nearly as smooth as the walking motion of Optimus.

This thing looks like a 10 years regression. Since it's not noisy it can surely work as a statue.

i had more hope for the first atlas with lookedlike it had more flexibility in motion than the atlas 2.0.
