Astrology for the Soul September 11, 2024

I will keep walking the path of healing,

Just as the indigenous people of Alaska have 26 different words for snow, we should have probably 100 different words for love! It comes in so many shapes, sizes, and frequencies that it can be as confusing as using the word "God." In today's video, I discuss seven different expressions of love that emanate from, or come through, the seven "bodies" described by Rudolf Steiner's Anthroposophy.

So, when we say that we are "looking for love" or aren't receiving or experiencing enough love in our lives, it may be well to consider these different levels and expressions. Especially when it comes to the "highest" expressions of love called sacrifice, eh? I think this understanding of love can bump us up to a new level both in our intimate relationships and especially with family, friends, and "enemies!" 

This week, and especially during the eclipse (7:43 pm PDT), we may experience the presence of love in our lives in many ways, such as healing, revelation, recognition, harmony, or others. Let's keep our ears, minds, and hearts open for a greater, fuller experience of ourselves and life than our current worldview or vocabulary has taught us! Blessings!

I watched this as I sit waiting for my husband to be dropped off by a medical transport vehicle. He will be coming home after almost 3 months of being at a skilled nursing rehabilitation facility following a brain hemorrhage and encephalopathy. It was caused by alcohol use disorder. I am going to be his caregiver now. I am hoping that this “sacrifice” brings both of us closer to ascension. He has dementia and is in a wheelchair and cannot walk. He still has his personality though and we laugh together a lot. I’m hoping that he is happier and more comfortable back at home. He will definitely be surrounded by love.

Oh, Into The Mystic! We listened to that as my grandma was dying. It has been precious ever since. I’ve been struggling with inner tensions around giving too much in just the way you described but also wanting to be of service to others and the world. This touched on so much stuff I've been dwelling on this week, and I had to laugh hard when you were talking about the acts of love and sacrifice of walking the dog when you should be working - daily daily bang on! - and Into The Mystic is pretty much my favourite ever song. This was amazing, I had the experience of caring for my mother who lost her leg at 83 yrs. I lost my partner, home and business in this sacrifice, and through numerous burnout the experience turned horrible. Thank you for explaining how sacrifice can turn so sad.
