Imagine being the operator on the other end of that call. First hearing Teddy saying he killed someone and dumped the body, then hearing gunshots and people screaming and finally hearing Franklin screaming into the phone "say the f**king password!!!" That lady gonna need therapy

I don't think people are understanding his quest for the money. After looking at everything he has been through and what he has lost, how college treated him, the destruction of his hood(caused by him), murdering his friends because of their idiocy, almost being killed by Mel, Mel(his 1st love) getting strung out, killing Andre, being a pawn to Teddy, Teddy killing his dad, being betrayed by family, etc. To go through all of that and end up with nothing for my seed to have, my woman to have ain't no way I can go out like this is understandable. That shit would make anyone go dark and lose their mind. I think Franklin deserves some part of happiness. He didn't know how destructive crack would become he just had ambition. I hope u can get that money from peaches though

The minute Teddy told Cissy Alton was alive it was to secure his safety. He knew Cissy loved that man too much to let Franklin kill him w/o knowing where alton is. Cissy never cared for Franklin to have the money. And y'all said Franklin was willing to let Teddy walk with half of his money. But Cissy would also let Teddy walk if Alton was alive. Doesn't matter what Teddy did. Everyone has their kryptonite.
