I always wanted my drawings to look more realistic and thought that maybe it had to do with the art style or something like that but seeing this made me realize that it wasn´t it. I always knew that color is one of the greatest tools one can have, but I never used it properly i suppose. I'm gonna try to do photo studies and see how it ends up changing my art, maybe this is the way I was looking for all along.

I love these kind of videos. These are the ones that sticks with me in my journey, its basically studying and decomposing an artwork or photo without painting, just taking into consideration the aspects which apply from painting to painting. Really awesome video Boro, thank you!!

в целом, все видео с момента объединения композиции и шейп дизайна невероятно полезны. перевод искусства из почти полностью интуитивного, в почти полностью сознательный процесс (особенно с акцентом на стратегию), вступления завлекают, заключения не не позволяют выкинуть видео из головы. единственное чего мне не хватило, так это времени черного экрана, 3ри секунды, всё-таки, маловато

As an unrelated suggestion, recently I was searching and wasn't able to find any videos on youtube explaining how to paint like Bouguereau digitally. There are some people doing copies of his works, but no one seems to extract a generalized technique. I mean, the obvious answer would be that it's all very precise and labor-intensive and one has to think really hard about composition and geometry and stuff, but surely, there must be something to be said about lower-level stuff. Like the contours of terminators or maybe the alternation of well- and loosely-defined features, idk. Personally I can't figure it out, but since you've already tackled Rembrandt, maybe that's something you would be interested to do.
