The fact the pan is not oven safe is a testament to the shortcuts they must have taken. I worked in a kitchenware store and most pans, including the cheap ones, were oven safe to about 350F. They really poured everything into marketing huh

The fact that the pan was not in perfect condition and it’s a luxury item. Like what.

The pan took the phrase fashion over function and really took it to heart

This pan is proof that influencer-driven products are just "as seen on TV" infomercial products for people with smartphones

I was a bit interested up until, "not oven safe." Wow, where is the cost going

"cult favorite" = we just paid a bunch of influencers who just postmate their food anyways to say they love it

It's so weird that they'd make a second handle-grip thing and then not put any insulating material on it, especially if the pan gets insanely hot

I feel like if it's gonna be that heavy, it might as well be oven safe

"Clean as you cook, please. You're an adult."

I'm feeling personally attacked right now lol

"Replaces a fry pan, sauce pan, saucier, skillet..."

I already use one pan for all tbos things. Those are names for the same thing.

It was so expensive that she wanted to quote a lower price to lie to herself, I feel that. Also get a cast iron you will be glad you did

The scraps and stuff are probably from the METAL steamer. They ought to have done a silicone steamer or put silicone bumpers on the feet and edges, maybe the handle too.

I was about to buy this pan as an Xmas gift for my girlfriend, but the GOOP-iness of the marketing and the way the lady in the ads pronounced pan really turned me off.

So um, what does it do that a regular 10" cast-iron or ceramic coated pan doesn't?

...other than not being oven-safe.

I don't cook anything at all but even as inexperienced as I am, I wouldn't want an "all in one" utensil, sounds like something that would slow down how quick you make a meal

I think the real test of stuff like this is what happens 5 months down the line. Like so many nonstick pans they work great until tiny tiny scratches build up, and there is literally no way to avoid the scratches.

If you have to put a warning that you shouldn’t touch a HANDLE, well maybe your design is not that functional

Might sound gross, but I literally buy pots and pans at thrift stores. Pots and Pans used to be made really well, and a lot of the ones I find are in perfect condition and super sturdy. Every time I buy a new, “nice” pan from the store, it ends up breaking.

$145 and you can't touch one of the handles when you're using it, especially since it's so heavy? Also, using only one pan for everything can limit the variety of things you can cook. For example, you need a pan AND a pot when making risotto. And I can't help but feel that the pasta dish you made could have been made faster if you just had a separate pot for the pasta while you cooked the chicken. The "this is the only pan you'll ever need, it will replace all your other pots and pans!!" marketing claim really irked me.

Its actually a typo, its an "occult favorite" the ethereal eternals love watching humans prepare their sacrifices in this pan.
