I think they should move the three-point line further back. I don’t think it’s fun to just watch people run up and down the court taking shots from the three make it more difficult forced them to play further in. But I guess moving it further back won’t actually change much. I don’t know.

They should remove the 3 point line. Maybe give 3 for a shot from the own half but I'd consider even that unnecessary. In football, you also don't get 4 points if the field goal is from 50yds+. That would would bring back viewers, because the players would need to ball again.

Four point line should be half court. Could make for more exciting endings, since 1) in most of game, no one tries it and 2) People only go for it if they’re behind by three w 2 secs left.

A 4 point line would make the NBA even more unwatchable than it is right now. The NBA would have less viewers than the MLB and NHL if they added this. Every game would be 156 - 161 it would be horrible to watch. There would be even less defense if this were to happen as well. It would completely ruin the sport and I don’t get how people don’t see this. In my opinion if it were to happen it would be the worst decision maybe in sports history. All you have to do is extend the three point line to like 26 of 25.5 feet.

The Harlem Globetrotters have their 4-point shot at 35 feet away. From that far, I don't think you'd see nearly as many attempts as you would for a 30-foot line, so the game would still likely have a lot of 2-pointers and 3-pointers, meaning it wouldn't be too negatively affected.

Threes are perfectly balanced right now. With as big of an influence as curry. You see a lot of threes in the NBA. Even centers need to be able to chuck one down if they wanna make a roster. So if anything the nba three needs to be further. imagine you’re up by three (100-103) with the opposing team having enough for one more possession in the fourth. They chuck a half court to win the game. Do you thinks that’s fair?

People who are in favour of a 4 point line do not understand the consequence of it. It ruins the sport, as basketball is about defence and offense. If you guard someone at the 4 point line, it means that everything close to the hoop is wide open, resulting into more shots, less defence. NBA basketball is already suffering from the lack of defence. With that, you would have basically no defence anymore

At this point, I think they should just get rid of the three point line. Basketball is very boring to watch. Everyone just shoots three and stands around. No one plays defense. Nothing like it was in the 90s.
