Love my trench coat right from autumn to spring! I have a knee-length double-breasted coat in beige, and a shorter single-Brasted coat in navy.

I tend to wear the longer coat fully buttoned in the rain, and the shorter coat over knitted jumpers tied with the belt but unbuttoned for an effortless casual look. It goes fantastically over a grey sweater with navy jeans and brown derby's or chukka boots.

I used to not like this channel before.... but ever since buying a fitted suit, I am more into fashion, and I can't stop watching his videos. Very informative and friendly. I like him better than alpha m.

Great video, as always. On a personal note: I own a brown bomber leather jacket that I bought some 30 years ago. I still wear it and I love it. In my opinion, brown is the way to go with leather. I don't particularly like black leather jacket. For me, it is associated with criminal motor gangs, which I despise. Brown leather on the other hand reminds me of the heroes of WWII and even WWI.

Great vid, Antonio, but I wish it was published two weeks ago when I went spring jacket shopping. Regardless, I did pretty well and ended up with a navy blue, unlined, Harrington-style jacket (living in San Antonio, TX, so a lighter jacket is preferred). Thanks to your video, I now want a few more jackets to round out the spring 'drobe.

I have an navy trench coat just like that one. A literal US Navy trench coat.

In Georgia the temp goes from thick sweater weather in the morning as the sun rises to light hoody or thick long sleeve shirt at mid day to evening and later in the night you'll need a coat because the temp drops so I've gotten into layering for comfort and my style have shifted that for dressing the winter here and I pretty much don't have any heavy coats any more because I get options I can layer. So like sport wear a long sleeve dry shirt, a thing fleece shirt or zip up, another fleece vest sometimes, a down jacket and then a rain coat on top (we get random rain that's warm coming down and cold after it's done. So layering isn't just for warmth but versatility layers I can take of or mix to certain temps and conditions when you're day goes from 38° to 68° you can't wear the same thing unless you like punishment of some kind and I like the layers because it's easy to carry a down jacket and rain coat with me and throw them on when I need it.

historically speaking. Epaulets are found on most military jackets because one of their functions is you can drag a soldier by them if they are wounded. Additionally this is why they are affixed to the jacket in a very reinforced way to withstand this type of tension.

Is there a style of trench coats that is specific to Germany from World War I or World War II? Or are the trench coats British and German officers wore the same style?

What's the best way to find the right sizing in lightweight jackets for fall and spring? Is it best to wear like a sweater then try on the jacket? I'm having sizing issues between S and M

Absolutely outstanding! Having a physical example for each type is great. I love how thorough you are about the purpose of each jacket.

Never was a fan of jean jackets. Always preferred leather instead. But as a Chicagoan, I can say for sure a peacoat is a spring jacket. Our cold weather likes to stick around till late April, haha. Another good guide Antonio.

I've been going for the insulated down vest and cardigans all spring so far. I have also been wearing a tan-leather blazer I bought last year. The reason I don't wear that one all the time is the company decided to personally tailor it to me like you would a suit, and then I put on fifteen pounds of muscle so I can't fit layers into it and can barely bend my arms.

Though, one style I like but is really hard to find is the tan-hunter-leather jacket. It's one I've seen (for 700$) and it's a leather jacket tailored like a blazer it has two pockets on the upper chest, two pockets on the bottom around the hips and sometimes a built-in belt; and it cuts off just about the mid crotch area and high collar. I always thought that was fabulous. That's the type of jacket that would be perfect for charcoal button-up shirt, black tie, black or black and tan combination dress boots and designer black jeans.

Hey there, great video. I'm wondering who is the designer of your sweater jacket that you are wearing in this video? Thank you!

I like the Sherpa fleece deniem jacket. I own one and really like the texture in both aesthetics and feel. My only fault on it is it's fit around the waist. Like you said they have to make them for all sizes of people.

Any idea on the maker of the field jacket. Can't seem to find it in Google search.
