'There Are Some Howlers There' | Ian Collins BLASTS Lack Of Priorities In Political Party Manifestos

In the run-up to the general election, all political parties are out campaigning, setting out their plans in a bid to attract as many votes as possible.

Political correspondent James Heale explains to Talk's Ian Collins that manifestos are described as "just a document for a handful of people in Westminster". He says: "Really, they are a programme for government and a statement of priority."

Ian questions if the next government will tell the British people that things will get better. He says: "There are a lot of voices out there at the moment that say we're actually NOT out of anything right now."

Ian Collins said manifestos aren't legally binding, correct. However, Reform don't have a "manifesto", they have a "contract with the people, " and being that Reform are a Ltd company means their contract is "Legally binding"

I don't like manifestos, I'd prefer something like a contract to the people, something like that. I wonder who is offering a contract to the people, they would definitely get my vote.

"The investigatory powers act" breaks the core principle of Article 8 of the ECHR.
"The Online Safety bill" breaks the core principle of Article 10 of the ECHR.

None of them have offered to return our human rights.
