DIY Dragonball Jell-O FAIL!!!

Mine was a fail but here are some tips to make sure you don't make the same mistakes as me:
1. Try adding less water if you use Jell-o
2. Using Gelatin is better because it is less watery and more firmer than Jell-o
3. using canola or some kind of greasing spray on the mold
4. using warm water to release the jello from the mold some, but not too long, or else if will get watery

***Mark my words Dragonball Jell-o, I WILL BE MAKING A SECOND ATTEMPT. REDEMPTION

I'm so excited about you trying DIY besides clay 😁

Gelatine makes it more firm, but it also makes it taste nasty. If you want it to work and taste good I would just recommend using less water next time to make it more firm.

I had an idea on how to maybe make it better. take the star cutter and use that to fill jello let it cool and harden then take it out cut those into smaller pieces so star is not so tall. when you fill the molds put each star half way through the filling of the mold then fill rest cool it and wait for it to harden. might work better.

id recommend using a mix of jell-o and Gelatin with a ratio of about 1-2 packets (200g) witch would make them a little more solid other than that its a realy cool idea, and i might try making these for some people i know who are huge DB fans

Gelatin doesn't taste like anything. I suggest adding gelatin to your Jell-O to make it taste like Jell-O AND have firmness :)

I recommend trying agar agar if you can find it. The result is firmer than gelatin from my experience. ^^

Maybe if you use the jiggler recipie on the Jello brand box, it is a firmer version :)

you just add less water to the Jello and it will be firmer. We used to have a mold that made Jello Jigglers in the shape of Easter Eggs and the directions said to add one cup less water.

But jello is still gelatin. Jello is just the brand. The ingredient of the product is gelatin
