Undub - Final Fantasy X HD Remaster - The Movie - Marathon Edition (All Cutscenes & Cinematics)

Here is a full 11 hour (my longest video yet) special Marathon Edition of my Movie Version of Final Fantasy X HD Remaster. This is the 2nd of what will eventually be 3 Movies that I will have on my channel for this game. This version features the original Japanese dub with English subtitles.

the scene with Auron passing on is beautiful in my opinion. i love that fistbump with Kimahri, and the wsy he looks when he's about to leave. he's just like, "well, I'm done here, it's your world now, peace."

The best game in existence and I genuinely mean that. The amount of memories I have with this game it can be beaten. Im so glad they made an HD Version of the game it thoroughly deserves it.

It's amazing how 2 different voice actors can completely change Yuna's whole persona. "English Yuna" feels like a sweet, shy, and timid person who's not completely confident in herself but grows stronger. And I always felt like she had trouble expressing herself naturally. While "Japanese Yuna" comes off livelier and more confident, while maintaining a strong will from the beginning. She's cuter in her demeanor. Just an observation I really liked.

Thanks so much for sharing the Japanese version of the HD game!  It was really great to hear the cultural differences in the casting.  I am one fan of the game that actually thinks Tidus's voice is better cast in its original Japanese.  English speakers tend to get really irritated in Tidus's tendency to whine in English.  For once I can relate to him both as a protagonist and as the hero.  I only have one complaint with HD rendering; I think they over-colored Tidus's eyes. Other than that the HD version is gorgeous.  Kudos on a wonderfully compiled cinematic presentation.

Yuna must be my favorite female character of the series. I find something about her really great, she is at times kind of sassy and not entirely shy or immaculate, she shows some weaknesses which is what I adore about her, those weaknesses make her more human, and make you feel that she's trying hard. And has some complex details, like in the ending when she remembers all the moments of her pilgrimage in one second, she even remembers the kiss with Seymour, she can't forget that, which is a complex thing to understand, it was something that happened and it can't be erased, and I loved that the game shows that, to be immediately followed by the memories of she consuming her love with Tidus.

Anyways I love this game, thanks Squaresoft and Square Enix for remastering it. I got for myself some fine memories.

Objectively speaking, I have to notice that Tidus is more excitable and helter-skelter for lack of a better word, while he's portrayed as more cocky in the dub. Also Yuna's portrayed as very innocently flirty, which makes Tidus's attraction more reasonable. The undub seems to bring out a few more elements out of characters that we didn't really get or were altered in the dub.

OMG I had no idea, until this moment, that Tidus' Japanese voice actor was the same as Ichigo from Bleach.

Awesome job with uploading the Japanese voiceovers with English subtitles. Really appreciate the effort. I've played the English dub on Steam. Seeing the scenes again with Japanese voiceovers, really bring about a fresh feeling again. Thanks for making me fall in love with this game again. :)

I really love both dubs and I think it's really great to be able to listen to each and hear the different nuances each one highlights in the story. I don't care about whether one is better or worse - I'm not wasting my energy on value judgements. I'm happy to have both.
