Dr. Livesay was a really Odd fellow.

A Russian friend of mine told me that his time spent on Treasure Island changed him as every night grew darker in later episodes.

In this episode (he never told me what episode it was), Dr. Livesay would smile in the dark, then frown. Strange for a jolly man to frown at all in the dark. It looked like he was staring into a mirror in pure horror. And onto the next scene, that reflection showed his usual smile, but toothless, a gaping black hole.

That reflection (or well... doppelganger) would then appear from the wall behind him when Dr. Livesay lit up a candle and it screeched before eating him. The amount of detail the blood and gore had... It was so real, like they took blood and splattered it onto the drawing.

I haven't talked to my friend in a few months. He told me he felt like he was being watched. I didn't put it past him because a lot of crazy shit happens in Russia. But seeing this rare piece of lost media now, I understand why he started getting cautious of being around mirrors at his home.

Sometimes, I think to myself if that's my friend or his reflection.
