LG G4 How to Hard Reset or Factory Data Reset with Buttons

LG G4 Hard Reset also known as Factory Data Reset or Master Reset. Before doing this reset make sure you know what your GMAIL email account and password is as it will prompt you to sign in with your last gmail email address that was on here before the Alternate Hard Reset.

This will remove any pin code or knock code that may be on the phone. Just remember now these phones have the kill switch.

Thanks it works..for those who are having a hard time just follow his instructions. Hold down both and after the logo comes up let go of power for a half a second while holding the volume down and instantly hold back down the power button. I had a hard time too just follow his instructions.

Very good explanation, explains what the LG documentation doesn't tell. Or so to say: what LG online doc tells is wrong. Power button mustn't be hold down together with volume key when LG logo appears after restart.

FYI the Verizon G4 is different. From the Verizon Website: Press and hold the Volume Down button then press and hold the Power button. When the System recovery screen is displayed, release both buttons.

The difference is you just keep holding the Volume Down and Power, never let it go like in the video.
