Daniel Jones made his preseason debut vs the Texans today and it was not pretty. 2 Interceptions and he finished the day 11/18 for for 138 yards.

what a fun way to get re-introduced to daniel jones.. Think this one might be a long season unless he becomes something he's never shown he could be. Everything looks so difficult when he's back there taking snaps.

Jones hit mid-season form by quarter 2. Settled in, looked sharp.
Can't believe Jones is back from the ACL tear already record time.

I see how he bounced back and drove down field, he ran, took a hit and the o-line protected good. Some drops, some ugly but I believe we will be fine, he was obviously rusty. So let’s see how the game goes Minnesota

The main focus for the Giants today was to test the offensive line and see how much time they could give Jones to throw deep passes. They were up against a solid defensive team as well. Jones, on average, had around 4 seconds per snap to get rid of the ball, which is much better than last year. Love the Giants, but see me in November, lol.

If we looking at the positives, the pass protection was very good compared to what it usually is. DJ at least threw the ball down the field and was throwing back shoulder passes which was nice too see. The only really negative play out was the pick 6. I can live with the 2nd pick since he was being aggressive

I researched his career from his college days. He was always a mediocre quarterback at best but somehow he fooled a GM to draft him in top 10 and another GM to give him the money bag. He will not be starter after this year but he got his money. This is a good case for what not to do as a GM.
