Dragon Ball Daima's World Between Realms Explained

Dragon Ball Daima Episode 1 raised new questions to many about the Mysterious Gateway between Dimensions where the Demon Realm was able to access to the Dragon Ball Multiverse. We saw Degesu, Neva, and Gomah meet WARP the Fish. What is this place and what does it mean?

And I do believe that the demon realm is not only part of universe 7. It seems like it's own dimension, not bound inside any universe.

Also remember that the Yardrat in the Tournament of Power was on the team from Universe 2 and the Yardrat has pointy ears which would potentially mean the Yardrat race is also from the demon realm. Which could also be how they got to different universes. It does connect!

Maybe the demon realm was the original universe and that's why it's shut off from everywhere.

The Demon Realm being the size of the macrocosm and the "other side of the coin" would be incredible.

I think they might have their own Demon Realms but i like the idea of it just being so massive its the other side of the macrocosm and not just U7. And thats how the U6 Namekians got to U6 and even Jimizu (the Yardrat from the TOP) ended up in Universe 2 by using that Nexus.

The Demon Realm being a fraction of the microcosm and existing OUTSIDE of Universe is very plausible. Other universes might have their Demon Realms but i like the idea of it just being so massive its the other side of the macrocosm and not just U7. Maybe thats explains how the U6 Namekians got to U6 and even Jimizu (the Yardrat from the TOP) ended up in Universe 2 by using that Nexus.

Maybe that bottom of the universe point we can say that's the universal entrance to the demon realm/exiting the universe in question

I believe that if Toriyama drew that diagram today, he would include all 12 universes in the section of the mortals realm, planets of the kais and the gods of destruction around the map in random points, and the demon realm at the bottom.

Also, I would love to see a video about the Dragon Ball timeline including future Trunks and Cell timelines :)

Makai at the base of the diagram can also just literally point to one of many entry ways into the demon realm. Folks can’t look at this too narrowly.

Of course by now we know the history up to episode 11 but I don’t want to spoil that for anyone that hasn’t gotten there yet.

I hope that Toriyama had decided to make the Demonic Realm a separate place disconnected from Universe 7 or the other universes. I know this would be contradictory to what he has said in the past, but it is possible that he had changed his mind. I would like it if it turns out in Daima that all the portals we saw in minute 1:33 lead to different universes many more than what we were told in Super, but that they are now no longer accessible and that is why Whis says there are only 12 .

I wouldn’t be surprised if the higher-ups didn’t know about these access points. We’ve seen before how they were caught off guard by Future Trunks and mortals tapping into time travel. In Dragon Ball, it’s common for the angels and gods to be surprised by what mortals can master or even reconstruct, things they shouldn’t have knowledge of. This gateway between dimensions could be another case where mortals have uncovered something far beyond what the divine realm expected.

The Demon Realm is a totally separated world from the Dragon Ball Multiverse (the 12 Universes.) Also Kaioshin’s brother in the first episode said ‘Babidi wants to rule the outside world, the Demon Realm and all other worlds” Implying that there are other worlds beyond the boundaries of the dragon ball universe as well.

I guess that this might be a future connection between Daima and DBS regarding Jiren's archenemy in U11, the demon who killed his mentor. If this is true about the demon having access to other universes, there's a chance that the demon that attacked Jiren's master, might come from another universe.
