LG G5 First Look: We take a quick first look at the new LG G5 flagship phone's modular design. This is the Hi-Fi Plus DAC, designed with Bang & Olufsen and and supporting 32-bit 384kHz high resolution audio and DSD playback. It can be used as a module with the G5 phone or as a standalone DAC. The G5 also supports aptX HD and Dolby Digital Plus audio.

Interesting concept, but almost everyone is happy with 96kbs Spotify via tinny headphones. Like Sony with Hi-Res, LG is wasting their time, money and effort IMO.

Doesn't work with the FM radio!   Other than that it does sound better than the standard audio but FM is my main source for music on my phone so bitterly disappointed.  Only saving grace is that I bought from a Hong Kong retailer one third of the ludicrous UK price of £150!!!
