Jordanien - Römisches Theater Amman

Das Römische Theater, in der Nähe des Suq der jordanischen Hauptstadt gelegen, ist das größte Amphitheater auf dem Boden Jordaniens. Mit Platz für rund 6.000 Zuschauer übertrifft es auch das Südtheater in Gerasa (Jerash) deutlich. Im Theater gibt es zwei kleine Museen, die sehr anschaulich die Traditionen und die kulturellen Wurzeln der Menschen in dieser Region veranschaulichen.

The Roman Theatre, located near the Suq the Jordanian capital, is the largest amphitheater in Jordan on the floor. With space for 6,000 spectators, it also exceeds the South Theatre at Jerash (Jerash) significantly. In theater, there are two small museums that vividly illustrate the traditions and cultural roots of people in this region.
