I think biggest mistake in Silo in episode 3 for a moment they show how outside look and nobody even reacted. I was personally expecting something big because some many people was there at least some of them should been able to see that screen flash and react it. That was dissappointed. Considering in my opinion season1 episode 3 was the best episode(At least show some more action in episode 4)

Agreed with you….I took screenshots of the PANNED OUT SCENES and zoomed in….I don’t see A SINGLE BODY!! The two bodies by the tree should be visible

What really makes me think is, why give an illusion of a green world in the first place? I get the purpose is to make them want to clean but if going out there is possible with a suit then have someone safely clean it and return.

Also, how is the air inside the silo good? Especially the other silo with solo? I do enjoy shows that make you think so my questions are just out of the fun this show provides. However thinking to deep can ruin things sometimes lol

I don't think the outside is necessarily uninhabitable. I think the cleaners die from the fog that gets sprayed on them before they go out. The fog/fore sequence in the airlock makes no sense if you only do it when someone is going out to die and if everyone who goes out dies.
I think they get gassed, and then sent out, and then fire destroys whatever the fog was...just in case.
At any rate it makes no sense to blow the magic fog (like you're "decontaminating" them) at someone who is walking into certain death.

Yes I was expecting to see bodies. The VR was trick them into cleaning. It was not what the cleaning saw but what they would see that was seen on the drive. Because of the VR it was not clear that she put the badge on his body. It seems more a trick to get past the barrier she bumped into. Like it shorted the barrier and she could pass.

My question is about the mines. In that final shot we see all the silos being relatively close to each other so where does that tunnel the miners are digging lead to?

I noticed that too. I was thinking maybe the bodies on the ground was an illusion for the people watching it on the screen. Maybe they’re still alive. Idk

Haven’t read the book, but it a reddit thread without spoilers..
The book’s author did say that if it was his choice in the show.. he would have shown the silos much further apart with bodies littered everywhere. They did show the bodies, but not enough and not well when they zoomed out. I was hoping they were alive out there.. but looks like she’s the only to have made I over the hill with the good tape.
The air looks toxic, but also so strange that they blast them with (possibly poisonous) gas before they exit. I thought cleaners were also a way to test the air quality, along with showing the people inside that it isn’t safe. But with their secret technology, they could test the air quality anyway

Somebody did a good job highlighting that you CAN see the bodies when they pan out it’s just hard bc of the scope of the landscape. They ARE there though. (I thought the same until I saw the photo of the bodies zoomed in)

Compared to the far more relevant differences between the novel and the serie, the "disapperance" of the two bodies is really a small deal.

Yes you are missing something. The bodies are not actually there as can be seen when she tries to put his badge on him she realizes the bodies are a hologram of some type.

The dead bodies are hard to see on the zoom out, but if you pay attention to where the lie when there's a closeup Juliette and pay attention to this spot during the zoom out, you'll see that the bodies lie there.

We can see them further back. The first angle you posted here show them closer than they actually are (cameras are tricky) . The first angle from a distance ( not shown here) shows them further away, the same as the panning away angle in the video here

This show is bad the hell ass!! I’ve watched both seasons and haven’t seen a boring or bad episode yet. Can’t wait for season 3. There’s sooo many questions I have that I can’t wait to see answered.

The bodies are real props on a real set, but the drone footage is a CGI, so yeah, the animators made a mistake.
