KENYA ATTACK - In Nairobi's main stadium on Saturday, a man cannot hold his tears: he spotted his son Gibsy in the stands. As a survivor of Garissa University massacre, Gibsy had to go through a debrief with security forces, but now he is home. He hid with friends in a toilet block near his dorm for over four hours before making a run for it despite Shabaab snipers taking shots from a rooftop. He tells FRANCE24 his dreadful experience.

SAD!!! This guy was my classmate (4 yrs) in high school in one of the most anti-Islamist high school in Kenya (Kijabe Boys High). I had goosebumps watching him explain the horrific & inhumane ordeal because I know what kind of person Gypsy is; very silent, good guy, focused, & very humble guy. I was the only Muslim during the first 2 years so there was always a lot of challenges such as notes with threats & being mocked in a room of almost 10 people and everyone laughs and enjoys the mocking. But for sure in my 4 years at Kijabe, Gypsy, plus a few others, was genuinely good to me. May God protect every good soul in this world!
