Nathan Cullen needs to lead the NDP and not let the Liberals forget this, exactly for the reasons he stated. This guy gets it.

I'm a Leftie and even I'm getting fed up with this nonsense. Every week it's something new with this government. Constant cringe-worthy headlines

What a waste of time. I doubt he will legalize weed, do we have to show up in droves and protest for everything ??

It may go over well for the NDP or Cons to hold their own cross Canada consultations and present the specific results in their respective platforms in 2019. Despite the polling I think this will backfire on the Libs to a significant degree. We already have a brazen liar to the south. There's no room for one up here.

The LPC promise was not taken "word for word" from the NDP platform, don't know why Cullen agreed with that. The NDP called for a mixed-member proportional representation system, which is a clear and positive promise. The LPC called for an end first past the post, a negative and open-ended promise, and even muddled in the irrelevant issue of mandatory voting. Not surprised this is a mess.

Damn it Cullen hurry up and run for leader. Otherwise bring in Leslie and oust Trudeau and fix our democracy.
How much longer are we going to go through this Liberal -> Conservative -> Liberal, repeat, circle of parliamentm

I think Minister Karina Gould should step down, clearly, the largest portion of the work in her portfolio is off the table. The portfolio itself may even be irrelevant under this government now.

Here's something nobody cared and quite frankly nobody is surprised if they actually wanted electoral reform then it should be held to a referendum because Canadians are the voters and should ultimately decide on their government's electoral system not independent experts not top down government mandate it up to the voters for the voters and should be decided by the voters and definitely not by the government imagine how crazy the democrats would go if Donald trump decided to change america's electoral system even if it were better or worse the democrats would go insane
