President Joe Biden addressed the nation on Saturday evening after gunshots broke out and injured former President Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania.

Biden also condemned political violence from breaking out in the U.S.

"There's no place in America for this type of violence. It's sick. It's one reason why we have to unite this country. We can't allow for this to be happening and be like this. We can not condone this," Biden said.

Trump was rushed off stage by Secret Service agents while giving a speech at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday. Several loud bangs could be heard as he was talking when he said, “Oh,” and put his hand up to his right ear. Blood could be seen on his ear and face as Secret Service agents surrounded the former president.

Agents gathered around him to shield him from any more potential gunfire before he was rushed off stage. He exited the stage with his fist raised in the air.
