You're very quickly shaping up to be one of the top tech channels on YouTube. Keep it up, Clément!

Thanks so much Clément! There's a huge stigma against coding bootcamp grads in the industry that I think is a result of misinformation

Great video, the coding bootcamp that wants to get rid of half sounds like App Academy, i would say though every school should have high standards to keep their name good .

Well, probably people like me aren't the focus of any of your channels. I am Brazilian and live in São Paulo so the market and the way things work here must be certainly different, but what do you guys think of Bootcamps that at least in the end of the course give you a dozen interviews with other partner companies apart of course of helping you build your CV and portfolio?

What are your views about General Assembly?
I am preparing these days to join some coding boot camp in Washington, DC.

Which one you prefer in DC ?

App academy is awesome. Every single coding bootcamp should post their curriculum online for free.

Yes yes yes! all those facts are correct as expected ;) BTW - I'm undergoing a very "unique" bootcamp - is a free bootcamp funded by FAANG companies :P aimed at women who want to switch careers (preferably from a tech related field, although there are exceptions) and it's divided to tracks - so when you apply you have to choose a track between Java, Python basic, Python advanced, web development and Android development, and you also have to choose a preferable branch - and the branches are actually...High -Tech companies! because it's funded by them and there's a free space with no additional rental costs for the organization who runs this...
So before Google Tel Aviv closed their campus for renovations I was part of their branch, and now I'm a at Amazon. It's pretty cool to learn in such environment - I went to eat lunch with the workers because I have a friend who works there - it's very similar to internship in that sense.
So since it's free we have to learn everything on our own - there's a dedicated system where we log into with our laptops and there's a structured curriculum that they've built but the resources are completely external (the taks & exams are internal, though) if you're desperate for help and Stuck(ha) Overflow can't help you there are some volunteers there to guide you. Also, every quarter there's a Trackaton - like hackathon - but for those who wish to speed up their learning process and don't mind going for a full day coding with no sleep :P (I'm actually going to one by the end of this month).
After graduation we have the option to get a mentor and do some projects to prepare us for job interviews, so they're very helpful if you're serious and have enough self-discipline :) -I know it's long but I thought it would be interesting to share a different model from the other side of the world...
