Reading more, It is interesting to reflect on how this Bahai leadership process also anticipates and addresses the problems of concentration of power, corruption, and abuse —> also chronic problems for so many of our political and religious systems.

So many more well- formulated ideas from Bahai literature to consider updating humanity’s outdated “operating systems”, to meet the relatively new realities and needs of a technological, and interconnected World!

Thanks for wonderful and vivid articulation. As a Baha'i, I am so happy that with the new features for human organization and world order, many people can find a choice for their own good, and for waging peace and unity.

What a great summary. In fact, the Baha'i electoral process reflects true democracy: Baha'is are not limited to a choice of only 2 leaders. Instead, they vote for a body of 9 people & can decide which 9 people have the best qualities necessary to lead & to serve, for ex: humility, wisdom, compassion, nurturing, justice, truthfulness, trustworthiness.

What a beautiful commentary on the Baha'i Election process. Please write a book on this religion. The world is in need of a better way!

Starting from the fact that we are all connected and interdependent, with all main religions coming from one source, creating "close to a pure democracy", with "everything in the election reducing the possibility of conflict" Beautiful to hear!

“If long-cherished ideals and time-honoured institutions, if certain social assumptions and religious formulae have ceased to promote the welfare of the generality of mankind, if they no longer minister to the needs of a continually evolving humanity, let them be swept away and relegated to the limbo of obsolescent and forgotten doctrines. Liked your analysis...Everything in the Baha'i Faith was revealed by Baha'u'llah to remove conflict and build unity...The Baha'i election process is a good example of that..

Interdependence is human reality. The reality of all things is it’s relation to another reality. Otherwise there is no existence can exist in its atomic or individualistic form.

I love the Baha'i Faith. Truly it is a gift of God to God to me. If for any reason I was going to leave it nobody is going to stop me, so that part was not true

An elected Baha'i President or Prime Minister in a western country would be interesting to see. 😊
