It just reminds me of the hardships that I've been through and how the imagination of this game got me through all the crap from living in the worst streets. This song had a big role in the passion I felt and still feel towards Kingdom Hearts. The song itself has a mystic beauty that I have trouble describing. The best way I could put it would be like looking into your loved ones eyes, mesmerized like you could stay that way forever. The whole game gave new meaning to my life and opened my eyes to so many things. I know I sound like I'm exaggerating a little, but that was my real experience. I saw it in a store one day used, and I bought it on a whim. This song still strikes me in a way that not many things can, and this was a beautiful rendition of it on the graceful instrument that is the violin.

The times when everything was nice and calm, when everything was serene. When I was just an innocent little kid, not the cynical teenager I am now. When nothing really mattered, it was just me and my games and toys.

I wonder how KH has managed to become so iconic for the nostalgia it now brings to its fans from way back when. The music obviously has always had a huge effect on us all--that's why we're on this video, right? All of a sudden, I just find myself crying because of how big of a background, fundamental part of my life this series of games has been. I hadn't loved a book as dearly, nor a movie as passionately, nor any other game with such a tender heart as I loved--and still love--Kingdom Hearts.

I can listen to this song all day, so beautiful. when I hear it, I can't help but think of my childhood, and realize how far I went in this life, now I'm a junior in college. This life caused a lot of pain and scares, but in the end it will be worth it.
