I’ve got a Korean built ‘57 Danelectro model that looks identical to the one played here. Absolutely holds its own or goes one better than every other traditionally constructed electric guitar I own. A pressed fibre board and batten body with an almost enamelled paint finish, wrapped in vinyl tape, bolted-on neck and very basic hardware. And it sounds glorious. I played it acoustically, fell in love with it and had it shipped to my country before I even plugged it in. I bought my old Strat after a similar experience of string resonance, neck feel and weight on a strap. Just so inspiring to play and record with it.

I wish they had those dark chocolate rosewood fingerboards again. I’ve owned 2 and the fingerboard on both of them was a beautiful dark brown. The one I kept is white with gold hardware, a ‘59 anniversary I believe

The pots are a bit awkward but they both sound nice :)

How do you move the saddles to change intonation? The string is right over the screw. Great video thank you.
