I agree. I am currently working on the first book of a kids Horror series. I have interesting characters and cool monsters. I also don't talk down to kids(they are to smart for that) and add real life situations. My lead, the pov of the story, loves monster movies and 80s culture. I have included aspect's of my childhood to strengthen the character. it should be out for Xmas as an eBook series. it's called; The MONSTER SMASHERS.

It's so much fun to write.

Looking forward to the stories. I am 45 and am starting to read middle grade and YA again. In Neil Gaiman's book View from the Cheap Seats, he talked about Diana Wynne Jones. I had never read her. Read Dogsbody and fell in love all over again.
