Clearing an overgrown ditch with my John Deere 2025R

I've been wanting to move my sawmill to a more permanent place on the homestead, and the place I want to use is always a little wet, so I opened the drainage ditch up a bit. Started it yesterday, I can notice the difference already!

I think your initial view & the maneuvering of the tractor when you moved to reposition the BH & picked up the log helped solidify my decision on a 2025R. It doesn't look that much bigger than a 1025R & I wanted something slightly larger but didn't want to lose much of the maneuverability of the 1025R & 2038R is way too big for my property as much as I want one. My only other consideration is a B2401 (I'm 95% sure I want Hydrostatic but...) or B2601. It's been tough to lay eyes on a 2025R but a dealer about an 90 min. away has one and Messick's has a B401 & 2601 in stock and is about 30 min. farther away (same dir as the JD dealer) so I'm going to make a trip next week to visit both assuming they haven't been sold.

Thx for posting! Watched it 2x & subscribed.

How's she goin'? Getting the drainage issue resolved will sure help that area stay dry. Nice job on the hoe getting the ditch cleared. That is a nice maple log too. What will you make out of that? Take care!!

Awesome grapple work! How do you like that style tires? I know TTwT has them. I just wonder how they do in snow and mud. We found your channel from a comment you left on Grampie's. We'd really appreciate if you'd give our channel a look if you aren't already following us and have a minute. Thanks in advance!
