I like Seiya for having that mindset. Why would the prettiest girl all of a sudden be interested in an introvert? I don’t blame him for thinking Shindo was just using him to keep other guys from approaching her and in anime and manga that’s literally what the prettiest and most popular girl at school in anime and manga do. He was cautious and knew all the guys would hate him if they found out he’s hanging out with her. I don’t blame him for distancing himself from Shindo because of that conversation but she visited him to clear the understanding and they ended up together. Really enjoyed the story. There’s a similar story to this on another channel.

I really dont blame the MC for distancing himself from her. You dont just have the prettiest girl in the whole school talk to you, a lonewolf on a daily basis all of a sudden. As someone who is about to finish high school and spent all my time quietly Id be cautious and not jump to premature verdicts about a pretty or popular girl to talk to me

I respect the MC's mindset, to avoid getting hurt he doesn't want to get near the potential source of pain. Him suddenly turning cold after "confirming" his suspicions was definitely my favorite part of this episode, the art complimented it nicely. FMC wasn't in the wrong for hiding her feelings and was a generally cute character, definitely fun to watch. Them affirming their relationship was pretty cute and the mom being there made it even better. Great story, top tier favorite, especially in this trope

I understand why Seiya felt that way, the prettiest girl hanging out with introverts isn't normal so he would be suspicious. But Harnua and Seiya moving past that with Haruna confessing her feelings and speaking the truth and the two becoming a couple was really sweet and wholesome. Plus the mom was pretty funny with her interactions with the both of them.

I absolutely loved this.
I can't blame him for being Cautious then after hearing the conversation can't blame for trying to distance himself from Shindo I think that's her name.
I just woke up so very drowsy still.
Anyways Shindo went over to his house and cleared up the misunderstanding and even gave him her first kiss while he most likely got his first kiss taken and they end up together.
I also loved how the mom was just peeping at them kissing.
It reminds me of the Tom meme of him half out a door and he has a really big evil smile but it's the mother just watching so she can tease him.

There was no one "top girl" in the social pecking order of my high school but rather several who for the most part rather nice except for one and she was in my brother's grade. She tried to shame him by constantly using the fact he is from the country as a way to make him unpopular, it actually had the opposite effect and people wanted to know about more about since he usually kept to himself and his closest friends.

That's what I like sometimes. A short Kanon story without any third-party idiots trying to ruin it.

The mom at the end is just the icing on the cake. It reminds me of Tsuredure Children where the mom caught his son with a girl, telling him to use protection.

That Seiya thought that Haruna approached him out of pity is understandable ... when he overheard her talk with that other girl he felt as if his suspicion was confirmed 🥺 Great that she didn't give up on him when he started to ignore her and finally she came to his home to talk to him 🤩 It's not surprising that his mom saw Haruna and Seiya kissing after they became a sweet couple 😍
