She does a great job. Her emphasis on expression over technical perfection is what makes this Spanish-styled ballet blossom. Would love to see more daring ballets acts like this, ones that are artistically expressive and creative, but retain the revered technique of a ballerina.
Additionally - and I know it's already been said - this piece is absolutely nothing like the Habanera.

can anybody recommend any more routines like this? it feels more seductive than the usual swan lake dance, and i've been replaying this constantly.

I think the name of this musical piece is *Prelude from Carmen Suite" and not Habanera.

Woo! Saw this girl on some RT video about dancing, didn't take much searching to find a video of the performance. Google must REALLY be improving their algorithms to know I'm sub'd to RT and was on a video of Swan Lake to get to where I am right now.

Lovely dancer. Very clean. Not quite the crazy free spirit that was Carmen . Yet difficult to be free to explore this aspect when you have to work so hard to make a poorly fitting chore sit as well as you can into the music. choreographer, I learn this one major necessity more and more . The music must direct the movement when not a mood setter or a purposeful juxtapose, so if the step is simple, common, even boring if it’s own,
Yet it is what the music directs, then the dancer is free and comfortable to give his / her all to it.
