I think the Mom wanted to hug her daughter initially, she just was giving her daughter the space. She didn't know if she wanted a hug.

Mom is scared of Dad. She barely spoke once he opened him mouth. She was telling the truth. It’s definitely more to the story. I’m glad Karamo pointed out dad’s behavior and habits at the time too!

That dad - hug the daughter and looked straight in the eyes of the mom- like “I’m winning” … and whyyy didn’t he step in for his kids ???

I would find it hard to accept the apology of the man who doesn't acknowledge his part in the puzzle.

I fully believe and sympathize with mom. Dad has the privilege of dismissing his harmful past to mom. He immediately cast blame over on one side. He could’ve gotten his daughter when mom was unavailable physically and emotionally, but he instead decided to stay distant and spin a narrative.

The mom is obviously traumatized by that man

Nahhh the father is a loser 💯💯💯 he filled her head with lies and she’s an adult. She needs to know who that man really is

To a certain extent i kind of understand why her mom didn't hug her. Their social media chats didn't go so well and she didn't want to impose herself on her daughter. Knowing that she needed the hug actually liberated her.

Well, as for daddy too good shoes because he heard her saying she was disappointed that her mom didn't give her a hug that's the first thing he did when he got to the stage. Iit's giving: I'm the better parent, i reached out first, i love you more...Both parents need to heal from the past and focus on building a relationship with their daughter.

I’m glad Karamo held the dad accountable for his actions, decision making, and behavior as well, and didn’t put all the blame on the mother to paint her out to be the bad person.

Mothers in most cases, always carry the burden of carrying the child for 9 months. Whatever goes wrong is blamed on them. We appreciate you all ladies in the entire world. You go through a lot but are not listened to in most cases

Both points were definitely valid, however my spirit sensed a hidden agenda with the father…. The way his eyes gazed into the mother soul, it gave he definitely had some control over her in the past… the mother was experiencing a great pain and tremendous trauma.

That dad is nasty. He couldn't look the mom in the face because he lied and is still lying. This young lady could have a good relationship if he keeps his mouth closed.

Why isn’t she giving the dad the same energy as the mom? The daughter doesn’t want to hear the truth about her dead beat father

Kudos to who ever raised this young lady and help in still these values in her, she has a beautiful soul.
Her feelings are valid and hopefully she can fully heal.

Shout out to the daughter for saying she expected a hug. That was really open and honest. Instead of just being upset that the mom didnt automatically hug her she said what she felt and then got a long hug from mom. I think the dad did something terrible to the mom in the past. The look he gave mom during his hug with the daughter was pure evil.

The way they keep blaming the mom is crazy and if the dad is all mighty why didn’t the dad get her??

That’s a good mother & she wants to do right but she needs somebody to hear her & acknowledge what was done to her! Therapy please! And whether people think “it’s not the daughter’s problem” or not, there is something different about having the people closest to you understand you. If everyone in the world gets it & you parent/child/spouse doesn’t it’s like nobody cares!

I'm so glad Karamo called him out on his behaviour too. He was abusive to her, he warned her with his eyes, when he came out and hugged their daughter. 15 years of no contact and that mother shook like her trauma happened only yesterday. The body remembers, what the brain tries to forget. This is one case I'm glad their daughter experienced adoption, as she stated she had an excellent life. She was only going to get dysfunction remaining with them, as even during the reunion, the focus is on each other.
