I think we have to keep in mind this interview was conducted a week after 9/11. They even mentioned the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania. I would say people were still walking on eggshells.

Thanks for uploading this. Your channel had been quiet for a long time, so I was happy to see a new one in the mix. I hope you will continue collecting these interviews for us. I would really love to see one with John Young if you can find one.

Comes across more like an interrogation rather than an interview

My old boss Bill Rogers. As a teenager I worked as a messenger in his law office. That was a few years before he was picked to be boss of the Challenger investigation commission. Of course it was a big office, so me and Bill never got to be close pals.

They could have mic'd the interviewers as well, but I don't think they intended to publish this session.

Neil was the right man in the right place at the right time, with the right stuff.
God bless him.

A really great interview is with Gene Kranz. You can tell Neil is not comfortable with being interviewed, he’s definitely no raconteur.

I hear many direct quotes that were published in Hansons biography.

I don't know what the heck Operation Overlord and the other names to do with the operation have to do with this. People, apparently Churchill chose Overlord, but the others were drawn from a hat. Important information in context, I know.

Stephen Ambrose is so annoying, Armstrong was so patient with him.

1 year and only few comments, sure much more busy fans on hoax videos. He was involved in Colombia disaster, never heard him talk about #1 pilots. Interesting talk.

Supposed to be interview but run like an interrogation... what a pity, what a lost chance

Never mind. I thought this was something else!

What an uncomfortable interview. It’s a shame Neil had no interest in relating his pivotal role in the space program except for the most superficial observations. He seems so reluctant to offer anything insightful.

Strangely, his interview with the Australian CPA society (his dad was an auditor) he seemed much more at ease and open with his thoughts.
