It is amazing ("serious" and "comic" topos"). Excellently performed.Emperor Joseph II, who loved to organize competitions between composers (as well as between librettists), for the "Entertainment Festival in Honor of the Governor-General of the Netherlands" ordered one-act comic operas on the same theme: theatrical backstage - from his favorites: A. Salieri and W. A. Mozart. In this case, Mozart was to write an opera to a German libretto by Gottlieb Stefani the Younger, and Salieri to an Italian libretto by Giambattista Casti. Both works were presented to the public in Schönbrunn on 7.02. 1786. In Salieri's opera, the part of Eleonora was sung by the famous Anna Storacci, the Kapellmeister was sung by Francesco Benucci, and Tonina by Celesta Coltellini. Salieri's work won and, as was believed at the time, proved the superiority of Italian opera buffa over German singspiel.

Bellissima interpretazione! E splendido allestimento! Veramente delizioso e ben fatto, dato con l'umorismo squisito del Maestro Salieri. Complimenti a tutti 😁
