Spokane County, DNR officials give update on Gray Fire in Medical Lake | RAW

The whole city of Medical Lake is under a Level 3 (GO NOW) evacuation due to a 9,500-acre wildfire, according to the Washington State Department of Natural Resources.

Thank God for the DNR and all firefighters, first responders and all police and sheriff departments. Long hours and risks to self. Please don't cross lines as citizens until cleared, you just make there job harder. I understand the feeling of helpless as I lost my home to a fire years ago, but let the focus on the obvious problem at hand and we as a community will all rebuild together

To all the responders and firefighters please do your best to do the job you were called to do and that is to fight off fires and to put them out in order to save lives of people and animals and to save their livelihoods. Please do what is right in your heart and in Gods eyes. Fight off these fires and put them out. If anyone is standing and watching someone’s house burn down and doing nothing about it even though it’s your job to put it out then remember that watching someone drown and deliberately not helping save the person is equivalent to murder. Please be honorable and do what is right because these people loosing their homes for which some of the people may have worked all their lives for they may never get their home back and their memories. It’s hard sometimes to put oneself in the shoes of another person especially if your own home is safe and not in harms way but please have compassion and imagine if this was your home what would you have done. Please do all that is in your power.
God says in His Holy Word that root of all evil is love of money! It’s because some are willing to do a lot of harm due to their love of money. Please do not love money more than your neighbor!
