What a wonderful version of this Magnificat. Very beautiful voice of this young sorpran.

I was quite impressed with the sound quality, you can hear the choir singing without the orchestra overlapping or bleeding into their sound, like other versions out there. Great manage of dynamics, specially for the woodwinds section. So clear, truly magical. Overall, amazing interpretation!!

Ja, sehr schöner Chorklang! Aber auch etliche Fehleinsätze und hörbare Wackler bei den Bläsern (z.B. Nr. 2. T. 40 ff. oder T. 64 ff.). Auch das Orgel-Positiv (Nr. 3) ist klanglich viel zu dünn. Hier ersetzt der Orgelklang in der Kammer-Fassung ja den vollen Blechbläser-Satz. Da hätte man besser eine elektronische Orgel mit Klangvolumen gebraucht. Das trübt die schön gesungene Aufführung doch sehr empfindlich….
